Hip Replacement Wait Times
"My husband waited nine months for an appointment to see a specialist to examine his hip. The hip needs to be replaced and we are being told by the specialist to expect another six to nine month wait for the surgery. He is in pain every day and night and has extreme difficulty walking. His job requires mobility on a daily basis so this long wait is not appreciated.
